At St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, we know how special kids are. We treat more children than any other hospital in the Tampa Bay area. That’s why we want to recognize children who are making a difference in our community by celebrating their achievements in our annual "Kids Are Heroes" contest. We're looking for kids, ages 5-18, who have done heroic deeds, such as:

Tampa Bay's outstanding young heroes will be selected by a panel of judges made up of pediatric patients from St. Joseph's Children's Hospital and Tampa Bay Lightning All-Star Player and "Kids Are Heroes" Spokeschampion Steven Stamkos. All nominees will receive recognition for their good deeds, and winners will receive special gifts from St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, the Tampa Bay Lightning and other participating sponsors.
